Overview
Founded in 1984, Fukutomi is one of the prominent players in the recycling industry, with solid footholds in Hong Kong, Southeast Asia, and other parts of the world. With sourcing networks encompassing the five continents, plastic scraps trading and recycling are its core business operations, and waste metals have become a new dimension in 2021.
Envisioned by Dr. Steve Wong’s strategy to assemble a comprehensive and reliable global supply network, strong business ties with global supply streams were established over the last few decades at locations encompassing fifteen countries across Europe, Asia, the U.S., Australia, and South Africa, a complete network was reinforced. With the mission of reuse and recycling becoming a common concept for major corporations and brand owners, recycled contents in products and packaging are growing as an effective means to achieving Corporate Social Responsibility, most commonly EPR (Extended Producer Responsibility) and PCR (Post-Consumer Recycle). Nowadays, as mentioned above, using recycled plastic resins is an effective means of achieving EPR and PCR. Strongly believing that recycling is key to reduce pollution and carbon emissions in our environment, Fukutomi is committed to serving a vital role in the supply chain as a reliable partner for brand owners in using recycled contents. Plastic compounding and pelletizing are conducted according to the applications and specifications of different plastic materials required by buyers, including general plastics and engineering plastics.
